Our Annual Würst Festival Fundraiser

Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 28, 2024!!!

Located in downtown Boulder City at Bicentennial Park 

This popular and successful annual event is Sunrise Rotary’s annual fundraising project and the proceeds go back into community activities, the largest of these being the alcohol and drug-free, “All Night Graduation Party” hosted for the Boulder City High School graduating seniors. Planned to keep young adults safe on graduation night, the event takes lots of manpower and costs a great deal. However, it is Sunrise Rotary’s most rewarding project, so we appreciate your support of our event and more importantly, we’re proud of the work our organization does within the community with the funds we are able to raise!

The Würst Festival

On Saturday morning, the Brat-grillers start grilling the more than 4,000 brats, sausages and hot dogs during this one-day event. In addition to our food, refreshing soft drinks, water, margaritas, wine and beer will be served by Sunrise Rotarians.
We also have food trucks with other assorted menu and drink items beyond our traditional bratwurst and hot dogs.

The Würst Dam Car Show, will once again showcase several hundred vehicles in the shaded comfort of the park.

The largest piece to this fundraiser is the Live Auction running from 3:30pm to 6 pm. Zany Rotarian Auctioneers and spotters add fun to this popular event with bidders always in very vocal but friendly competition to purchase the auction items. Some items you can usually count on in this event are vehicles, golf and vacation packages, furniture, sports memorabilia, tandem bikes and donations from businesses and Rotarians. As always, the Würst Festival will offer live entertainment during the midday hours and will cap off the day’s activities with an evening concert in the park until 7pm!

Antique Market

There will be up to 40 antique vendors at the event from 9:00am – 7pm in many areas in the park.

Donations & Vendors

We gladly accept event sponsorships and donations throughout the year for both our live and silent auctions at our Würst Festival, with all proceeds to benefit Boulder City Sunrise Rotary’s projects.

Our event seeks food vendors that complement the bratwursts and hot dogs that our club sells during our event. If you have a food truck or food service business that would be a good match, please contact us. Unfortunately, we do not solicit other types of vendors.
